ATTRACTIONS in Rhyl have been lit up this weekend to mark the coronation of His Majesty, Charles III.
The Rhyl Sky Tower, Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, 1891 restaurant and bar, the Rhyl Events Arena waterfall and coastal shelters have been lit up in red, white and blue from May 6 to today (May 8).
The coronation ceremony, which has been largely unchanged for 900 years, took place at Westminster Abbey on May 6, when the King and Queen Consort were joined by more than 2,000 guests.
Jamie Groves, managing director of Denbighshire Leisure Ltd (DLL), said: "DLL is delighted to join the rest of the country in sending His Majesty Charles III and Her Majesty the Queen Consort our congratulations and very best wishes on the occasion of their coronation, and wishing them every success in their reign.
“We hope everyone has a great weekend!”
