THERE are so many eggciting activities happening this Easter across Conwy and Denbighshire.
From Easter egg hunts to meeting Easter bunnies! There is plenty to keep all ages entertained.
Gwrych Castle
The I'm A Celebrity castle near Abergele is hosting its Easter Dragon Egg Hunt in April.
Gwrych Castle’s pet dragon has escaped and laid eggs around the castle grounds.
Familes are invited to come and find as many large Dragon Eggs and nests as they can.
Visitors will meet 'medieval Castle residents' along the way who need the Dragon found as soon as possible!
A spokesperson for Gwrych Castle said: "The feedback to our immersive theatre events have been so positive since we started them last year, visitors seem to really enjoy seeing the Castle coming to life with help from an enthusiastic and local immersive and theatre company. There is a whole story that will unfold for visitors to enjoy.
"Our next chapter is the Easter Dragon Egg Hunt from April 1 until April 10 will merge into the School of Magic series from April 11 - 16.
"The story will continue and develop throughout the year, so repeat visitors will take part in different lessons each time, and each event will tell the next part of the story."
Easter a Dragon Egg Hunt will run between Saturday, April 1 and Monday, April 10.
Rhyl SeaQuarium
The SeaQuarium in Rhyl is hosting its 'Egg-citing' Easter Eggstravaganza!
Children can follow the ‘Eggsplorers’ trail and unscramble a secret Easter password to win a prize.
A competition to win a VIP Experience will be held. Youngsters will be tasked with finding the missing Golden egg. They will then have to capture a photo with the egg and upload it to the SeaQuarium's Facebook page to enter.
There will also be an Easter Eggsplorers Craft Club as well as a special Easter-themed Seal Story.
'Egg-citing' Easter Eggstravaganza! will run between April 1 and 16.
Welsh Mountain Zoo
This Welsh Mountain Zoo is holding some egg-cellent events this Easter!
There will be a painted Easter egg trail (free) and Easter crafts. These will take place in the WILD Centre on Tuesday, April 4, Thursday, April 6, Tuesday, April 11 and Thursday, April 13. Visitors are invited to drop in between 2pm and 3pm.
There is also bird spotting. This will take place on Wednesday, April 5 and Wednesday, April 12 on the Bear Lawn. Swoop by anytime between 10am and 12pm.
There will also be a chance to learn about native wildlife on Monday, April 3 and Friday, April 14.
The Golden Egg hunt, mentioned on the zoo's website, has sold out.
Easter events run between April 1 and April 16.
Manorafon Farm Park
Abergele's Manorafon Farm near Abergele is hosting its Great Easter Eggsperience 2023.
Visitors can enjoy an egg hunt in Wonderland to meet Alice, and claim a chocolate treat.
There will also be a chance to plant carrot seeds and meet the Easter Bunny!
A "magical" Easter Show also awaits as well as an opportunity to see baby bunnies and chicks.
There is also an Egg Dipping Tent. Visitors can submerge eggs into Manorafon's "mega marbling bath".
A spokesperson for the event said: "These would make great decorations or a lovely gift for someone special."
Four eggs and box included per person.
Rhyl Library
Businesses in Rhyl will come together to host an Easter Egg Festival on April 4.
Participants can collect an Easter basket and map from Rhyl Library. They will then be tasked to visit different shops (an egg poster will be on display in windows) and collect chocolate treats.
There will be entertainment on the day in the High Street from Circus Cimera and Magic Light Productions as well as face painting in the White Rose Centre with Magic Garden Face Painting.
Craft activities will be held in the library with Gobaith Galeri.
Easter Egg Festival will run on April 4 from 12pm until 4pm.
Rhuddlan Castle
There is plenty of fun to be had at Rhuddlan Castle on Easter Sunday.
Hear local legends brought to life with music by musician and published author, Mair Tomos Ifans, and take part in an Easter Quest and decorate a biscuit.
The first 100 children to come into the attraction will be given a free Easter egg.
Rhuddlan Castle Easter Fun will be on Sunday, April 9 between 11am and 3pm
Bodnant Garden
Bring the whole family and enjoy an Easter egg hunt at Bodnant Garden.
Between Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10, visitors can enjoy a spring-filled adventure at the National Trust site between 9.30am and 4pm (last entry for the trail is at 3.30pm). £3 each trail, normal admission prices apply.
Discover nature and blossom and follow a trail to the willow worm where a prize can be claimed.
Easter adventures at Bodnant Garden from Friday, April 7 until Monday, April 10
Promenade and Pier Llandudno
Looking for something a bit different for Easter? Then take part in the fast and flat Llandudno Easter 5k Promenade Dash.
As part of the race, which support charities in the area, there will be Easter eggs and other seasonal goodies on offer, plus a medal waiting for runners at the finish line.
A statement on Facebook said: "The route uses an accurately measured fast and flat out and back course along the Llandudno Promenade.
"It's suitable for experienced runners and beginners alike.
"For the more experienced, it's a good chance to record a PB, and for beginners it's a nice, flat introduction to 5km races. The event also includes a short children’s race."
The event, organised by Nice Work, will take place on Saturday, April 8 from 10am until 1.30pm.
RSPB Conwy
The RSPB in Conwy has 'Big Wild Easter activities' for visitors to enjoy.
The RSPB will be celebrating Easter from April 1.
Vistors can explore an 'egg-cellent Easter trail', book a place on the Easter Egg-hunt and enjoy bug hunting and pond dipping.
Bodafon Farm Park
Bodafon Farm Park in Llandudno will be open every day during the Easter School Holidays.
Bodafon Farm Easter trail will run over the Easter weekend (April 8 and 9). For those that complete the trail, a prize awaits at the end!
Bodafon Farm Park is open from March 31 until April 16.
Coronation Gardens, Prestatyn
On Good Friday, on April 7, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt between 10am and 12.30pm at the Coronation Gardens, Prestatyn.
There will also be a plant sale, seed sale, refreshments and other stalls at Ty Caradoc Community Centre.
This is being hosted by the Friends of Prestatyn Coronation Gardens.
Prestatyn Church
It is an Easter Egg Hunt with a difference!
Prestatyn Church in Wales is holding a Easter Pebble Dash.
Readers should check Prestatyn Church in Wales Facebook on Easter Sunday (April 9) for the 'Pebble Dash Map 2023'. This will show locations of parks and gardens where pebbles are hidden.
Children should then 'grab a grown-up' to visit one of the locations and find a painted pebble which can then be swapped for a chocolate egg.
This will take place between 12pm and 2pm.
Llandudno Pier
There is a 'day of fun' planned at Llandudno Pier on Saturday, April 8 and Easter Sunday (April 9).
Colourful Easter Eggs will be hidden throughout the pier. There will also be games, face painting and music.
With eight eggs to find, the hunt is on. Hunters, locating three golden eggs, will have the chance to win a special prize.
The event is free. Donations to Ty Gobaith.
The Pier Easter Egg Hunt will run between 11am and 2pm on Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9
St Melyd's Church
A 'Rabbit Hunt' is being hosted at St Melyd's Church.
This will be at 1pm and will be run by Meliden Community Association. Tickets - £1.50 per child.
There will also be children's crafts, refreshments, a raffle and Easter Bonnets at 2.30pm.
