A PERSON died in Rhuddlan on Saturday (March 25) in what police have described as an "unexpected death". 

This was on Parc Edith, with emergency services called at roughly 8.30am.

An eyewitness told the Journal that were “lots of police, an ambulance, and two hospital helicopters” in attendance.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Police attended Parc Edith, Rhuddlan, on Saturday following a report of an unexpected death.

"The coroner has been informed and we continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death."

A Wales Air Ambulance spokesperson added: "I can confirm that Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in the Rhuddlan area on March 25.

"Two critical care teams were sent to the scene, the first arriving at 9am.

"Our involvement concluded at 10.17am."

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called on Saturday, March 25 at approximately 8.30am to reports of a medical emergency on Parc Edith in Rhuddlan.

"We sent two rapid response vehicles and one emergency ambulance to the scene, and we were supported by colleagues from the Wales Air Ambulance.”
