RESIDENTS across the North Wales coast were treated to a show as the Aurora Borealis lit up the skies last night (March 23).
The Northern Lights were spotted in Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy and Denbighshire with people making the most of the show.
Lisa Mayes captured a beautiful photograph of the lights over Bangor Pier and the city.

Mark Gregory spotted a luminescent green Aurora from Penrhyn Bay beach, adding: “Taken from Penrhyn Bay beach. Northern Lights and Gwynt y Mor wind farms. My first time capturing the Aurora.”
Annette Prest saw the “amazing” show from the Tower Gardens in Prestatyn.
Tanya Maria climbed the Great Orme, where she captured pictures of the Aurora over Llandudno.
The Aurora is caused by solar storm energy entering the Earth’s atmosphere, interacting with gases in the atmosphere resulting in beautiful displays of light in the sky.
