THE Vivienne has finished third in Dancing on Ice.

After being voted off, the drag queen, who hails from Colwyn Bay, said: "It’s been the most amazing experience. I’m so used to living out of a suitcase on a tour bus or somewhere and this has given me structure in my life and I’ve got fit and I’ve met the most amazing friend in colleague.”

The Vivienne - whose real name James Lee Williams - made history as the first drag queen to compete on Dancing on Ice.

She delivered a seductive performance for her first routine in the final which landed her another full 40 points. The 30-year-old dressed in a vibrant red outfit and skated to Dark Horse by Katy Perry with her partner Colin Grafton.

After the skate battle against fellow finalists - Nile Wilson and Joey Essex, the entertainer was voted off and her dream of performing her version of the Bolero came to a dramatic end.

Olympic gymnast Nile and his skating partner Olivia Smart were crowned Dancing on Ice 2023 winners.

Nile said: “If Dancing On Ice has anything to say of entertainment, we’ve got 11 human beings all different shapes and sizes stood on this stage tonight with an allocated time to get good at something and we proved that we can do that.

“So what an inspirational show. If you put your mind to something and you work hard you can achieve anything you want.”

Ahead of tonight's final, The Vivienne took to Twitter in a video to say: "All we want to do is do each other proud and skate the Bolero."
