‘Warm Hubs’ to offer refreshments, advice and games in Prestatyn and Meliden

Cllr Tina Jones MBE, mayor of Prestatyn and Meliden, said prior to the pilot scheme: “I am so pleased that the council have taken the lead on being one of the first organisations to commit to providing a Warm Hub location.

“This project is to help and support people of our town. It is a wonderful initiative for Prestatyn and Meliden; a Warm Hub, held in friendly environments, in different parts of the town.

“Where, in these difficult times, residents can meet up and have a range of hot food and drinks, and have a chance to meet local organisations with a view of taking up an interest, learn a new skill or receive advice.

“The Warm Hubs are run by wonderful volunteers who we are most grateful to have.”
