BIG development plans to help a holiday park thrive post Covid-19 have been given the go-ahead.

In November, the Journal reported that family-run Lyons Robin Hood Holiday Park, in Rhyl, had submitted proposals to Denbighshire County Council to extend its Foresters Show Bar and Restaurant.

The two-storey addition would extend across and project forward (North) of the main site building into an existing car parking area.

The proposals have been given approval; a certificate of decision, subject to conditions, has been issued to the park.
