A NEW defibrillator has been installed in Kinmel Bay, adding to the already operational one at Kinmel Bay Church.
The AED (automated external defibrillator) has been put in place at Little Paddock Caravan Park, and although this is private property, the equipment will be operational 24/7 and accessible to the general public.
The device is set to be registered ahead of the weekend.
Resident Bob Dennis was full of praise for the move, and said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all concerned in making this possible, all at TKBTC [Towyn Kinmel Bay Town Council] and in particular Kay Louise Redhead and Dylan Thomas.
“A special mention and thanks to the owners of Little Paddock Caravan Park for their generous contribution towards the cost and their permission to site the defibrillator on their property and make it available to all.”
The installation is one of many defibrillators put in place across North Wales this year, including in Dyserth, Rhyl, Craig-y-Don and Conwy.
