A CRASH in Llanddulas yesterday afternoon (August 3) involved six vehicles.

This was on Junction 23 of the A55, with the Welsh Ambulance Service called to the incident shortly after 6.15pm.

The ambulance service was later stood down by police.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called yesterday at 6.19pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving six vehicles, on the A55, J23, Llanddulas.

“We were subsequently stood down by police.”

A North Wales Police spokesperson added: "We were called to reports of a six-vehicle road traffic collision on the A55 eastbound at Junction 23, Llanddulas shortly after 6pm yesterday.

"Officers were in attendance, along with colleagues from Highways.

"The road was blocked while the vehicles awaited recovery and cleared at around 8pm.

"No serious injuries were reported."
