A football match between ASDA and Morrisons in Wrexham is set to take place.
The inter-gender match is to raise funds for the parents of Archie Crute, who has been diagnosed with Menkes disease which affects on average just one in 300,000 babies a year.
Tragically, babies with Menkes disease usually live between two and three years – and for Archie’s devastated first time parents, Daniel Crute, and Becky Davies, it’s now about making memories.
Archies’ mum, Becky works at Morrisons and dad, Dan works at ASDA.

Match organiser, Jonathan Owen said: “I wanted to organise this match to raise money and awareness for the disease whilst also having an element of fun to it.
“We’re going to have a little trophy presentation to either Dan or Becky so they can remember this day as the Archie Crute Cup”.
The match will take place on Saturday, August 14 with a 5pm kick-off at Brickfield Rangers Football Club, Clywedog Park, Wrexham, with a £1 entry fee.
All proceeds will go towards Archie's mum and dad.
