A MAN has been banned from the roads and ordered to pay in excess of £600 after he was found guilty of committing three driving offences in Rhyl.

Jamie Osborne, 41, of Stud Lane, Birmingham, was accused of the following while driving on Queen Street in a Fiat Punto vehicle on June 1:

• Driving without third party insurance.

• Driving without a licence.

• Driving with 81 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath (the legal limit is 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres).

He pleaded guilty to all three offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on June 22.

Mr Osborne was disqualified from driving for 20 months, though this will be reduced by five months should he complete an obligatory course by August 4, 2023.

He was also fined £500, and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £35 victim surcharge.

This totalled £620, which he is to pay in monthly instalments of £80 from July 20.
