ABERGELE’s Manorafon Farm Park enjoyed the “best surprise ever” after an alpaca unexpectedly gave birth at the site.
Mother and father, Alice and Basil, gave birth to a cria (baby alpaca), who has yet to be named, on Saturday (June 18).
It was a particularly lovely surprise given the park were under the impression that Alice was unable to give birth.

The park wrote on its Facebook page: “Best suprise ever! We have an unexpected baby alpaca!
“Mummy alpaca Alice (who we though was unable to have babies), 'unpacked' this beautiful cria just a couple of days ago - and gave farmer Josh and farmer Morgan quite the suprise when they went to check on her!”
