THE CHEAPEST places to get diesel in the Abergele, Rhyl and Prestatyn area have been revealed as motorists are warned that average fuel prices will hit £2 per litre this summer.
The average cost of filling a typical family car with petrol could soon exceed £100 for the first time in the UK.
The average price of a litre of diesel at UK forecourts rose marginally from 184.9p per litre on June 6 to 190.4p on Monday, 13 June, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
That is an increase of 5.5p in just a week.
The cheapest places for diesel are:
Morrisons Rhyl – 188.7p
Asda Kinmel Bay – 189.7p
Applegreen St Asaph – 189.8p
Tesco Prestatyn – 189.9p
Esso Holywell – 189.9p
The most expensive places for diesel are:
Shell Llanddulas – 198.9p
Shell Abergele – 195.9p
BP Prestatyn – 195.9p
Co-op Rhuddlan – 193.9p
Shell Rhyl – 193.9p
