The North Wales Police Denbighshire Coastal and Abergele policing team said: "With the assistance of the Local Policing Team, Firearms, Dog and Drone Unit, and Fire Service, the Rhyl Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted an intelligence lead misuse of drugs warrant on an address in Rhyl on Thursday 12th May 2022.

"The warrant was positive and a substantial cannabis grow was located and 2 males were arrested from the location. This is a great outcome where a considerable amount of drugs were taken off the street.

"The location was a serious fire hazard due to the rewiring which was carried out through the property. We would also like to make you aware of any strange or suspicious construction work being carried out. An example of this could be work being carried out late at night."
