Every week in North Wales planning applications are submitted and then registered by local authorities.

Here are some applications that have come into local authorities this month, which will then be determined by each council’s planning committee or delegated for a decision by planning officers.

Planning applications submitted:

Anglesey 

  • Mr and Mrs Shapiro have submitted a planning application to Anglesey council for permission to make alterations and extensions at Ardwyn, Y Gerddi / Garden Lane, Bodedern.
  • Mr and Mrs Shufflebottom have applied for permission for an extension to the existing garage to create an annexe together with a porch extension at Ynys Hafan, Pen Lon.

Conwy  

  • Conwy has registered a planning application from an applicant wanting to replace an external self-service ATM with a new model and associated works at 7 Conway Road, Colwyn Bay.
  • A separate planning application has also been submitted for various minor internal and external works, consisting of the replacement of the existing external ATM machine with a new model; the replacement of existing external ATM signage; the replacement and removal of existing internal self-service machines; and associated decorations, as well as Listed Building Consent at the same unit.
  • Conwy County Council has also registered a planning application for the change of use of a ground-floor former shop area to form a one-bedroom apartment at 332 Abergele Road in Old Colwyn.
  • An application has also been submitted for the change of use of offices into a shop and cafe at Bryn Rodyn, Dolwen Road, Old Colwyn.

Denbighshire   

  • Denbighshire has received a planning application for the erection of an agricultural storage building with a slurry store below at land near Hafodty Ddu, Saron, Denbighshire. 
  • The council has also registered an application for the erection of five holiday pods, including a new access track/road, and the installation of a private sewage treatment system as well as associated works at Caer Weirglodd, Cyffylliog, Denbighshire. 
  • An application has also been submitted to Denbighshire’s planning department for the erection of an agricultural workers’ dwelling, sewage treatment plant, and associated works at an Outbuilding near Bryn Cottage, Eglwyseg, Denbighshire. 

 Gwynedd   

  • Mr Hywyn Williams has applied for permission for the installation of a new bird hide on the site of a previous bird hide at Cuddfan Y Foryd, Saron. 
  • Mr Tom Fern has applied for permission for a proposed single storey flat roof side extension with balcony at Snowdon View, Dinas Dinlle, Llandwrog.
