MAY is Local History Month, and Rhyl Library is marking the event with exhibitions on various aspects of the town.

Photographs and documents covering sporting and entertainment history will be included, as well as a look back on school days, transport and infrastructure.

Visitors will also be able to access the full range of regional and family history resources.

This includes newspapers dating back to the 19th century, a range of historic photographs, directories and pamphlets as well as free access to ancestry.com.
