THE CHEAPEST places to get petrol in the Abergele, Rhyl and Prestatyn area of Denbighshire as prices rise ahead of a busy Bank Holiday weekend.

The average price of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts rose marginally from 161.7p per litre on April 18 to 161.8p on Monday, 25 April, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

The cheapest places to get unleaded fuel in the area are the Morrisons in Rhyl and the Kinmel Bay Asda, both priced at 158.7p, with the Sainsburys in Rhyl at 159.9p.

The costliest petrol is at the Shell garages in Llanddulas and Rhyl, standing at 164.9p.
