21 CHILDREN were sworn into their new role as North Wales Mini Police Officers today.
The children, who all attend Ysgol Christchurch in Rhyl, were welcomed into their role by the Inspector Jason Davies and will be valued members of the school, police and community.

The Mini Police Programme is a national police engagement programme which gives more young people a chance to participate in local policing and community related volunteering.
The children will look at local issues which directly affect them in their community and identify innovative ways in which they can assist to address or improve them
In a statement, NWP Denbighshire Coastal and Abergele said: “Congratulations to all our new recruits!”
