A BIN fire in Abergele was caused by a “carelessly discarded cigarette” yesterday (April 6).
This was on Dundonald Avenue, with the incident reported to North Wales Fire and Rescue Service at 4.45pm.

A spokesperson for the service said that the “contents of the bin was involved in the fire – caused by a carelessly discarded cigarette”.
