JOURNAL readers have been making the most of World Book Day today (March 3), sharing pictures of their children’s costumes based on famous book characters.

Children throughout the country have gone to school today dressed as a character from their favourite book to celebrate the annual event, which encourages children to read more.

And this year marks the 25th anniversary of the celebration.
