Berkshire has made the list of the top gastropubs in the country - not just once but four times!

Whether you're ready to put Dry January behind you or you're looking for a fashionable way to spend your entire weekend at the pub, we've got you covered.

The Beehive, in White Waltham, comes in at 11th place on the overall top 50 list.

Estrella Damm describes Dominic Chapman's The Beehive as a "true labour of love".

You might recognise the Head chef and owner Dominic Chapman's name because he was a contestant on BBC Two’s Great British Menu.

The Loch and The Tyne

Old Windsor's The Loch and The Tyne has come in at a very impressive 27th place in the rankings.

The gastropub is also the highest new entry in the 2022 list. 

Estrella Damm says it has everything you'd expect from a modern gastropub with a private dining area and even two luxurious bedrooms, built with the history of the building in mind.

The Hind's Head

The Hind's Head in Bray On Thames is also included in the top 50 gastropubs in the UK - and we have to admit that we're not surprised! 

Heston Blumenthal is the latest owner of The Hind's Head which has been serving customers since the 15th century. 

Described by Estrella Damm as "as British as it gets", this gastropub should be on your to-visit list if it isn't already.

The Bailiwick Free House

The Bailiwick Free House features in the top 50 list - coming in at 49th place. 

The gastropub is "nestled on the gates of the Windsor Great Park" and "diners are in for a real treat", according to Estrella Damm.

Mains include roast loin of Windsor Great Park Red Deer with smoked bacon, goose liver, Isle of Gigha halibut, aubergine ‘steak’ and more.
