THE Conwy and Denbighshire Public Services Board (PSB) have produced a draft wellbeing assessment for the region and want to hear residents’ views on the issues and opportunities identified in it.

The Conwy and Denbighshire PSB is a collaboration between public bodies who are working together to improve economic, social, environmental and cultural well-being in Conwy and Denbighshire.

Under the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, each PSB in Wales must periodically produce and publish a Wellbeing Assessment.

The assessment outlines what wellbeing looks like across the region and what residents and communities want well-being to look like in the future.

The PSB has been working to develop their draft Wellbeing Assessment in the last year.

It has been informed by engagement with our residents and stakeholders and also uses other information such as data, evidence and research, helping to understand the current situation, as well as ensure plans are in place for the future.

As part of the board’s next steps, the PSB want to hear organisations’ and people’s thoughts on the issues and opportunities identified in the draft assessment.

If you would like to give your views on the draft Wellbeing Assessment, you can do so until March 14 by visiting the draft Wellbeing Assessment on the PSB website (conwyanddenbighshirepsb.org.uk/home/english-wellbeing-assessment).

Alternatively, if you would prefer to submit a response on paper, have additional accessibility requirements, or if you would like more information about the consultation, email countyconversation@conwy.gov.uk.

The feedback provided will help the PSB finalise its draft Wellbeing Assessment.

Based on consultation feedback, amendments will be made and a final version published in April 2022.

Once the Wellbeing Assessment has been approved, the PSB will then work on developing a new PSB Wellbeing Plan, which will also be consulted upon before publishing in 2023.
