OVER 2,000 new Covid-19 cases have been reported throughout Wales in the latest Public Health Wales (PHW) figures.
In statistics released by PHW on Wednesday, January 19, a total of 2,136 cases have been confirmed in Wales.
297 of those cases were in North Wales and these can be broken down county-by-county to:
- Anglesey - 35
- Conwy -36
- Denbighshire - 40
- Flintshire - 100
- Gwynedd - 27
- Wrexham - 59
Sadly, 23 further deaths have also been recorded in the latest round of figures. This takes the total suspected Covid-19 related deaths in Wales since figures began to 6,731.
The PHW figures also show that 1,792,022 people in Wales have now received their Covid-19 booster jabs.
