POLICE have seized an off-road bike which had been “causing a nuisance” in Rhyl for a number of weeks.

North Wales Police (NWP) said the rider fell off the bike after being spotted by officers.

A statement from the NWP Intercept Team read: “This off-road bike has been causing a nuisance around the Rhyl area over the past few weeks.

“The bike was sighted by officers and attempted to make off. Unfortunately for the rider, his riding skills weren't up to the required standard and he fell off, dumping the bike.

“Another off-road bike with no insurance off the road and out of the hands of the illegal users.”
