POLICE have appealed for help with an investigation concerning an assault which took place in Rhyl last month.

North Wales Police (NWP) say the victim was chased into a shop by three men with weapons, and sustained injuries from the assault.

NWP have asked for anyone with information about the incident to help with the investigation.

“We are continuing to investigate an incident that occurred at 7.40pm on Sunday, December 19, at the One Stop store on Grange Road, Rhyl.

“The victim was chased into the shop by three males brandishing weapons. He was assaulted and sustained injuries.

“Do you know the male in these CCTV pictures? He is believed to be local.

“The suspects involved in this attack also form part of a group of youths who are currently believed to be causing a large amount of issues around Rhyl.
