Over 2,000 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Wales according to the latest figures released by Public Health Wales (PHW).
Figures released by PHW show today ( Wednesday 12 January) that a total of 2,885 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed across Wales in the last 24 hours, with 615 of them being in North Wales.
The can be broken down county-by-county to:
Flintshire - 133
Wrexham - 128
Gwynedd - 113
Conwy - 96
Denbighshire - 74
Anglesey - 71
Sadly, a further 14 people have died following a positive Covid-19 test, bring the death total in Wales to 6,668 since records began in early 2020.
The figures also show that 1,749,752 people have recieved their booster jab.
