TWO walkers were attempting to descend a ridge when one of them slipped.
This was in Tryfan on December 26.
The walkers were trying to descend Nor Nor Gully and one fell onto Heather Terrace. Thankfully, the person was unhurt.
Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation posted on Facebook on Monday 27: "Unsurprisingly, his friend didn't want to follow him but couldn't retrace his steps back up so called for help. A hasty party deployed to locate the stuck casualty while a second group set off with rope rescue equipment.
"Two team members were able to scramble up and lower the stuck casualty back down to Heather Terrace before both groups returned to base."
