Christmas arrived with a bang at Bodnant Community School following a flying visit by two of Father Christmas’s reindeers.
The Prestatyn primary welcomed the reindeer as part of its Christmas Fair on Friday December 17.
“We wanted to give the children an extra special surprise for Christmas and in partnership with our early years childcare providers Bodnant Bach we thought a visit by the reindeers would be perfect,” said Headteacher Helen Vernon.
“This was the best school fair we have ever had and we are so grateful to everyone for helping the school, the reindeer were a huge surprise and one I will never forget,” said Head Girl Elin.
Deputy Headteacher Siân Hughes thanked families and businesses who donated raffle prizes and helped out saying: “The Christmas fair was part of a series of events in school to raise money to update the IT equipment that the children have access to.," said Deputy Headteacher Siân Hughes who thanked said:We are so grateful to all the families and businesses who donated raffle prizes. and helped us with the fair.
“The total we have raised so far is £3253." - an amazing amount to raise”.
