A 'DECK the Halls' Christmas Fair was held at Christ Church in Prestatyn.
There was a 'double' event over a Friday and Saturday. This was to make up for one that had to be cancelled due to Storm Arwen blowing over a Yew tree which blocked the path way into church.
Reverenced David Ash, vicar of Prestatyn, said: "The event was also held in part as a first response to the news that the church heating boilers are now both broken and beyond any sort of repair, so there is an urgent need to raise funds towards a replacement."
The event took the shape of an outdoor market.
Father Christmas paid a visit so he could meet with children. There were also crafts, teddy tombola and other stalls.
Refreshments were also available and guests admired "wonderful banners" by textile artist Jacqui Parkinson, who will feature in Chester Cathedral in January.
The fairs were run as 'Covid safe' events. Masks were worn, sanitiser was there and there was a "strict" one way system.
On December 19, parishioners enjoyed carols and crafts at the Church of the Holy Spirit. There was also Nine Lessons and Carols at Christ Church.
On Wednesday, there is a Zoom Mission Area Prayer Meeting.
There is also a service on Christmas Eve. Visit http://www.prestatynchurch.com/p/calendar-of-events.html
