THERE have been more than 1,800 new cases of Covid recorded in Wales.
In the latest update from Public Health Wales on Sunday, it was reported that 1,892 people have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hour period.
Sadly, nine people died after a positive test during the same period, taking the total in Wales to 6,391
Of these new cases, 567 were in the Betsi Cadwalader University Health Board area here in North Wales.
The new cases in North Wales can be broken down to:
- Gwynedd - 135
- Flintshire - 132
- Wrexham - 109
- Anglesey - 68
- Conwy - 62
- Denbighshire - 61
In Wales, 2,260,662 people have now had two doses of a vaccine.
And 781,025 people have had a booster vaccine.
