THE daughter of a man who died following a 'hit and run' in Pensarn has paid tribute to a dad who was "loved so much."

Ieuan Richard Williams, 63, of Pensarn, died following the incident on the evening of November 20.

Paying tribute to her father, daughter Elize said: "Dad - I hold so many fond memories, memories that make me smile and some that make me frown, but you will always live on for as long as I live.

“Hopefully there is a kebab shop up there for you and a decent pint.

“There are a lot of your traits instilled in me but the ‘stone faced’ look comes in handy from time to time so cheers for that.

“I love you so much and I will never forget you (or your ‘baldy head and funny teeth’ – well, lack of them as we used to say).

“Rest in peace Dad – you’ll forever be in my thoughts.”

The investigation to establish what happened is ongoing and officers continue to urge anybody who may have information regarding the incident, which involved a black BMW, to contact them.

Three individuals who were arrested following the collision – a 22-year-old man from Highbridge in Somerset, a 19-year-old man from Rhyl and an 18-year-old man from Rhyl – have all been released under investigation whilst inquiries continue.

Sergeant Emlyn Hughes of the Roads Policing Unit said: “Our deepest condolences are with Mr Williams’ family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

“We continue to appeal for witnesses and would like to speak to anybody who may have seen a black BMW travelling from Rhyl towards Pensarn between 9.30pm and 9.40pm to come forward."
