His family have expressed their "sincere thanks" to all members of the public and the emergency services who assisted at the scene.
They ask that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.

“We continue to appeal for witnesses and would like to speak to anybody who may have seen a black BMW travelling from Rhyl towards Pensarn between 9.30pm and 9.40pm to come forward. Equally, anybody with dash cam or CCTV footage is urged to contact us.
“We’d also like to thank everybody who has contacted us so far.”
Three individuals who were arrested following the collision – a 22-year-old man from Highbridge in Somerset, a 19-year-old man from Rhyl and an 18-year-old man from Rhyl – have all been released under investigation whilst inquiries continue.
