A DENBIGHSHIRE man charged with robbery at a petrol station pleaded guilty at Mold Crown Court this morning.
Jake Martin Thomas, 32, was charged following an incident which took place at the Applegreen petrol station in St Asaph on Friday, October 15.
Thomas, of High Street, St Asaph, pleaded guilty to stealing £215 from victim Linda Evans at the hearing this morning (Wednesday, November 10).
As the Victim Personal Statement (VPS) had not yet been received by the court, and with the victim having requested to be in court to read it out, the hearing was adjourned until Wednesday, November 17.
Judge RP Rowlands said that the adjournment was 'unfortunate' due to Thomas having pleaded guilty but added he 'could not object to' the victim's request.
Judge Rowlands said: "Sentencing will take place a week today when we will know how this has affected the victim."
