THE Welsh Mountain Zoo is hosting a week of "terrifying events" for all to enjoy.
Fright Week begins on October 23 and runs through until Halloween (October 31).
Visitors are invited to take part in the Ghost Hunt Trial at the Colwyn Bay site; brave ghost hunters have a chance to win zoo themed goodies.
There will also be spooky storytelling sessions. These will be held in conjunction Conwy Libraries on Monday and Wednesday in the WILD Centre between 11am and 12pm.
Creepy Crafts are also on the agenda [taking place in the WILD Centre between 2pm and 3pm ] as well as a carved pumpkin contest.
Young zoo-goers are encouraged to bring in their carved creations.
Charlotte Dykes, marketing and sales manager at the Welsh Mountain Zoo, said: “We’ve inevitably missed out on a year of Halloween fun. For our little visitors, this is one of the most exciting times of the year and we're keen to pull out the stops and add some extra spooky thrills for little zoo lovers.
“This is one of the most busiest times of the year for us, so we would encourage anyone planning a visit to pre-book to ensure they don’t miss out on Fright Week mayhem."
