RHUDDLAN Town hosted Kinmel Bay as both sides fought for bragging rights in an eight-goal thriller.
Rhuddlan’s Ray Knight opened the score sheet assisted by Mathew Beach in the 16th minute with a scrabble goal, forcing Bay out of the traps and Dan Wickerson levelled after half an hour.
Despite plenty of goal-mouth activity for both sides it was not until the second half that Town's Josh Brown scored, in the 53rd minute, which opened the floodgates: Night drove his second goal two minutes later and Beach added a third in the 62nd.
Both teams then tightened up, but after 82 minutes Kieran Ellis scored for Bay, followed by Paul Brady in the 89th to narrow the score to 4-3. However the next scorer was Rhuddlan’s Brown in the 90th minute to seal the three points.
