WORKERS at a gas terminal near Talacre will hold a three day strike in a dispute over pay.
Unite the Union has announced that notice had been served on Petrofac Facilities Management, and revolves around Unite members at the Point Of Ayr Gas Terminal, which Petrofac runs.
The facility is where offshore gas resources in Liverpool Bay are first brought to, and pumped to Connah’s Quay gas power station.
Unite said: "Today (Monday) we served noticed on Petrofac Facilities Management Ltd that our members at the Point Of Ayr Gas Terminal will be taking industrial action later this month.
"The action will be in the form of a 72 hour strike and complete ban on overtime starting on Monday, October 25."
Petrofac has been approached for comment on the matter.
