HARVEY'S New York Bar and Grill has closed for good in Rhuddlan.

The drive-thru restaurant, on Marsh Road, shut its doors on Monday, October 4.

Writing on social media, a spokesperson for Harvey's said: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal customers and team who have supported us throughout the Harvey’s Rhuddlan journey.

"Rest assured you can still visit and enjoy our restaurants in Llandudno and Bangor."

The drive-thru opened in Rhuddlan in 2014.

Director Craig Holmes said at the time: "We are providing ‘upmarket’ drive thru food, something different to what is already out there.

“We believe this is a concept that will work and look forward to welcoming people to Rhuddlan."

Customer Sandra Lyons wrote on the Facebook page: "So sorry to hear this news. Lovely staff there so kind and thoughtful."

Chris Perkins wrote: "Gutted, our go to favourite eatery especially for celebrating birthdays etc."

Jo-Anne Power said: "Aah I’m sorry to hear this. We always pay you a visit when we come to North Wales. Hope all the staff find alternative employment as we have always found them very friendly and efficient."

Liam Holmes posted: "Been visiting Harvey’s at Rhuddlan every time we visited Wales over the past four to five years. Amazing food with amazing staff that the area will surely miss."
