MORE than 2400 new cases of Covid and ten deaths due to the virus have sadly been recorded in Wales today.

Public Health Wales (PHW) have shared the latest figures for September 22 for Wales, with 2485 people having tested positive for Covid.

PHW have also shared that sadly 10 people have died due to the virus.

Here in North Wales, there were 501 new cases recorded.

The seven-day infection rate in Wales as a whole is now 551 cases per 100,000 people.

In North Wales, the county with the highest rate of infection is Conwy with 611.8 cases per 100,000.
