A MAN was trying to 'evade capture' by police when he fell from a window of a building in Rhyl.
North Wales Police gave the update today (Tuesday, September 21). The incident happened on River Street on the morning of September 4.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Emergency services responded to an incident in Rhyl on the morning of September 4, during which a 29 year old male fell from a window of a building on River Street.
"Local roads surrounding the promenade were closed by our officers at the scene to facilitate the landing of Helimed Helicopters and enable the casualty to be treated prior to transferring him to hospital.
"We can now update the public that the man in question was in fact trying to evade capture by police.
"He was released from hospital and has since been recalled to prison."
