ACTOR Adam Thomas and brother Scott paid a visit to the I’m A Celeb castle.

The twins were at the castle near Abergele to film a special piece for ITV’s latest competition which was featured on This Morning on Thursday, September 9.

Mark Baker, chairperson and founder of the Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust, said: “Adam and Scott were at the castle filming for a competition featured on This Morning. They came about a week ago.

"They absolutely loved the castle and they loved the town and they appreciated all the hard work that had been put in.

“We had to sneak them in [Adam and Scott]. The public had an idea something was going on but we couldn't reveal anything at that point.

“It was a really hot day. Abergele and the coast looked beautiful."

Former Emmerdale star Adam appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2016 and scooped third place.

His brother Scott featured on Love Island, also in 2016. He is the director of The Social PR.

The segment on This Morning on Thursday was for viewers to win £40,000 tax free cash and a Range Rover Sport worth £78,000.

During the footage, Scott is seen trying the outdoor toilet (previously known as the Dunny but in Wales known as the privvy).

The boys laugh about it 'getting chilly' out and Adam jokes with his brother than he is staying in the castle overnight.

"You're staying here aren't you," Adam jokes.

Mark is hoping that Adam and Scott's appearance at the castle will further highlight Conwy's bid to make the town the UK City of Culture 2025.

The judging panel will cut down the longlist to a final shortlist in early 2022, with the winner confirmed in May.

Gwrych Castle closed to the public on September 5 ahead of the 21st series of I'm A Celebrity.

Sadly the castle was vandalised hours before being handed over to ITV; On Sunday (September 5) at about 3pm, shortly before the site was given to ITV, PA reported that a member of staff had witnessed three children “demolishing the battlements”.
