THE castle hosting ITV's I’m A Celeb for a second year in a row is opening a shop in Abergele town centre.
The shop is just a short walk from Gwrych Castle.
The first phase of the store will open on Friday, September 10.
A spokesperson for Gwrych Castle told the Journal: "The new shop will give us a town centre base to interact with the public and for them to engage with us on the vision for the castle’s future.
"The first phase consists of opening the retail element of the shop. A new range of I’m A Celebrity merchandise will be launched in the coming weeks."
Gwrych Castle closed at 5pm on Sunday, September 5. This is in preparation for I'm a Celeb which is returning to the historic venue later this year.
A spokesperson added: "We would like to thank everybody who supported us this year, either by visiting the castle, volunteering or donating. As a charity, we rely on your support and every penny that we raise goes towards the conservation and restoration of the Gwrych Castle Estate."
