A MAN started a fire in a railway station's lift and caused £1,800 worth of damage.
This was at Prestatyn train station. The man also urinated in the corner of the lift.
British Transport Police is seeking witnesses after the incident which happened just after 1am on Monday, August 16.
A spokesperson from British Transport Police said: "The suspect entered the lift at the station, before later urinating in the corner. At 5.40am, he lit a fire in the lift which melted the floor, causing £1,800 worth of damage.
"After being asked to leave the station, he verbally abused a member of rail staff."
British Transport Police have released images in connection to the incident.
The spokesperson added: "Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation."
