A LARGE barn fire has taken place near the village of Llanfair Talhaiarn, Conwy, this afternoon (August 27).
At 2.05pm, North Wales Fire And Rescue Service tweeted: “We're currently dealing with a large barn fire outside #Llanfairtalhaiarn - please stay away from the area whilst crews are at work.”
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "We were called to this incident at 12.40pm.
"Multiple fire appliances are in attendance – eight in all, including a high volume pump.
"The fire is at a rural agricultural property and is affecting a number of interconnected barns.
"It is likely that we will be in attendance for a while."
