We kicked off our new nostalgia spotlight with a feature sharing people’s memories of Rhyl during its heyday as a tourist destination.
We recently marked five years since heavy-plant machinery was moved on to the East Parade to begin the demolition of Rhyl Sun Centre.
We also made an appeal for people to share their memories and pictures on our Facebook group We Grew up in Rhyl, Prestatyn and Abergele.
Along with other images depicting Rhyl in years gone by Stuart Jones has kindly shared with us pictures from his collection showing the resort down the years.
