A WOMAN was found guilty following trial at Llandudno Magistrates Court for numerous breaches of a Noise Abatement Notice served on her for excessive dog barking from dogs housed at her property.
Susan Davies, of Gors Road, Towyn, was ordered to pay a £400 fine, £800 costs and a victim surcharge of £40 coming to a total of £1,240.
The trial was held on June 10 2021.
Cllr Goronwy Edwards, Cabinet Member for Housing and Regulatory at Conwy Council Borough Council, said: “Officers in Regulatory Services have seen an increase in the number of dog barking complaints during the pandemic, this verdict should be seen as a clear warning to other people that they cannot allow their dogs to adversely affect the quality of life of their neighbours.”
