This is one of the best-reviewed Wetherspoons in East Lancashire, according to Google reviews.
One person said: “It is very clean, food was spot on and it is good value for money.
“People are friendly and there’s genuinely a good atmosphere.
“I'd definitely recommend to eat here without a doubt- I will be eating there again the rump steak is excellent.”
Paul Devivo gave a three star review and wrote: “Bit of a gift this Wetherspoons I think to the townsfolk of Darwen.
“However, the noise carries terribly in this place so don't always expect a quiet drink/meal.”

This is one of the most popular Wetherspoons in East Lancashire.
Neil Bond left a four star review and wrote: “Decent grub at a decent price- the beer is drinkable… and will get you drunk.”
Another said the food was “excellent” but though the décor could do with updating.
Mr Carter wrote: Staff were very good- but this is not one of the company's best properties, that’s for sure.”

Julio Romero has some very kind word for Accrington’s Wetherspoons.
He said: “Nice pub. Food was tasty. Table was clean. Nice atmosphere.”
However, he added that his review would have been higher “if service we quicker”.
Another wrote: “We have visited this pub a couple times while over from Australia. Every time the staff have been brilliant, the food and drinks are well priced and good value.”
Mrs Bear’s Travels- a local guide said: “This is one of the better Wetherspoon pubs we've visited. Good staff, good beer and great company.”

Jack Fisher said: “It’s excellent to find a bustling ‘spoons in a northern town when everything else seems to be closing.
“This establishment has continued to uphold my respect for everything that Wetherspoons is and offers to its clientele. Some great casual dining in often cosy, warm settings inside some of the local architectural treasures.”
However, one of the more recent reviewers wasn’t as impressed and wrote: “Old, dated decor.
“Ordered breakfast wich can only be described as unappetising. I will not be rushing back there again.”
The Postal Order, Darwen Street, Blackburn
Rating: 3.9 based on 1392 Google reviews
Blackburn’s very own Wetherspoons has one of the lowest ratings on Google.
However, many visitors are impressed with the establishment.
Faz Patel said: “Excellent friendly service. Very quick with the food. Highly recommend it.”
Paul Hayes said: Good cask beer with good social distancing measures in place. The staff seem friendly.”
Another explained that it is a “nice place” but added that “it can take a few minutes to get served depending what staff are doing.”
