A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a crash on the A548 between the villages of Llanfair Talhaiarn and Llangernyw.
The incident happened shortly after 2pm on Sunday, June 6.
A 59-year-old sadly died in the collision which involved a white Ford transit van and a black and silver coloured motorcycle.
Sergeant Raymond Williams from the Roads Policing Unit said: “I offer my profound condolences to the family and friends of the rider at this difficult time.
“I am appealing to anyone who was travelling on the road at that time between Llanrwst and Llanfairtalhairan that witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage that shows either vehicle prior to the collision. I would also welcome anyone who may have been travelling that route that has dashcam to contact us.
“The road was closed in order to carry out a full forensic investigation into the collision and I am grateful for the patience shown by road users whose journey may have been inconvenienced due to the sad incident.”
The road was re-opened at 8pm.
