A494 closed both ways near Bala after collision
THE A494 has reopens after a 'multi-vehicle' collision.
The incident occurred at about 11.20am near Bala and the carriageway was closed in both directions between the Llandrillo Turn Off and Llandderfel Turn Off (Cefn Ddwysarn).
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We were called today at 11.24am to reports of a multi-vehicle road traffic collision on the A494 at Llanfor near Bala.
"We attended scene with two emergency ambulances. Eight patients were discharged at scene. No persons were conveyed to hospital."
The road reopened at about 2.30pm.
