THREE people were taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital following a crash near Prestatyn.

The incident happened on May 26 just after 6.30pm on Prestatyn Road in Gronant outside the Nant Hall.

The three vehicle collision involved a bus, an Astra and an Audi A3.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "We were called at 6.39pm.

"Injuries described as ‘walking wounded’."

Air Ambulance attended but those involved were taken by road to hospital.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called on Wednesday, May 26 at approximately 6.30pm to reports of a road traffic collision on Prestatyn Road, Prestatyn.

"We responded with two emergency ambulances, two rapid response vehicles and were supported by Wales Air Ambulance.

"Three patients were transported by road to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.”
