A SEARCH was conducted for a person last seen on the bridge in Rhuddlan.
Rhyl Lifeboat were called shortly after 5am on May 23 along with coastguard units from Rhyl, Flint and Llandudno, plus the coastguard rescue helicopter 196 from Caernarfon, and were tasked to search the River Clwyd from Rhuddlan, down the river towards the river estuary at Rhyl, and along the coast East towards Splash Point.
A spokesperson from Rhyl RNLI said: "The units searched the area until coastguards informed all that the person was found safe ashore.
"All units were stood down at 7am, the inshore lifeboat returning to station at 7.10am."
Earlier this month crews were also called to search for a reported person in the water off the west end of Rhyl.
Coastguards and police located the person, who had been in the sea.
